9. Can my relative be seen before and
    after a coroner's post mortem ?

 

You should be able to see your relative before and after a post mortem, but if someone could have been involved in causing the death, you may not be able to touch or hold your relative before a post mortem. This is because it is important for the coroner’s enquiries, and for you, that evidence should not be disturbed or lost.
